Front to Lateral Raise Combo July 4, 2026 This is a good shoulder accessory exercise to use as a warm-up or at the end of a workout. Start standing with a dumbbell in each hand. Raise the dumbbells in front of you with control. From there, move the arms out to the sides. Pause for 2 count. Bring them back to the front. Then lower them back down. Keep the arms long with a slight bend in the elbows. Try not to lean back or use momentum to force the reps. Control is the key. Do: 1–2 sets 8–15 reps Good for shoulder control, upper back awareness, and getting some extra work in without needing heavy weight. Train what carries over. Bluegrass Barbell Move Better.
