Front to Lateral Raise Combo

July 4, 2026

This is a good shoulder accessory exercise to use as a warm-up or at the end of a workout.

Start standing with a dumbbell in each hand.

Raise the dumbbells in front of you with control.

From there, move the arms out to the sides. Pause for 2 count.

Bring them back to the front.

Then lower them back down.

Keep the arms long with a slight bend in the elbows.

Try not to lean back or use momentum to force the reps.

Control is the key.

Do:

  • 1–2 sets
  • 8–15 reps

Good for shoulder control, upper back awareness, and getting some extra work in without needing heavy weight.

Train what carries over.
