Gorilla Row July 2, 2026 This is quickly becoming one of my favorite go-to back exercises. You need two objects: one to support yourself with and one to row. Start with a wide stance. Hinge at the hips. Place one hand on the support object. Row with the opposite arm, pulling the weight back toward the hip. Keep the trunk braced and the hips steady. The goal is not to twist or yank the weight up. This works well for building the lats, upper back, trunk control, and hip stability. Do: 2–3 sets 4–8 reps each arm Strong back. Stable hips.
