Power Snatch August 25, 2026 We’re starting with the assumption that you already know your snatch or overhead squat grip. Start with your feet around hip width. You can go slightly wider if needed to get into a good starting position. Grab the bar with your snatch grip. Take the slack out of your arms and set your back while keeping pressure through the middle of the foot. Drive with the legs until the bar reaches the hip. From there, move the feet aggressively into your receiving position while pulling yourself underneath the bar. Catch the bar overhead with control and stand it up.
